After struggling to make an impact in Real Madrid’s first-team once again, Kaka is willing to bend over backwards in order to move back to AC Milan. The Brazil international has declared he is unhappy at Real Madrid, although the midfielder has proven to be a useful asset to the Spanish club.
Kaka recorded goof form last season, where he scored eight goals and provided 14 assists in 40 appearances. After taking over Real Madrid in 2010, Jose Mourinho asked Kaka to move out even though he arrived at the club just a season ago for a whopping €68.5 million.
In spite of being unhappy and suffering from successive injuries, Kaka decided to extend his stay at Real Madrid. It took a lot of time for the 30-year-old to start featuring in the team and show goof form, but nagging injuries found their way to him again.
Jose Mourinho opened the door for Kaka once more during the summers. However, no club was ready to pay a hefty price for an aging Brazilian. In the end Kaka, who has made only seven La Liga appearances this season, was left to survive at Real Madrid for another season.
With the arrival of the winter transfer window, many believe Kaka already has one foot out of the door and into San Siro. No official bids from AC Milan have yet been made public, but the growing feeling of Kaka’s departure cannot be disregarded.
Kaka has already declared his desire to move back to AC Milan as soon as possible. In an interview to Sky Italia this week, Kaka hoped Real Madrid would find a way to let him return to San Siro.
“It is not a good situation neither for me nor Real,” Kaka said. “If they come to an agreement with Milan it is good for me and good for them. I'm ready to do everything to come back to Milan. I have had some beautiful moments in Milan, I have friends there.”
Later on Twitter Kaka said: “For me it is a delicate situation. If Madrid and Milan reach an agreement, I am willing to make a sacrifice to return.”
Earlier this week, the AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani announced that moves for both Kaka and David Beckham were nothing but rumors. Adriano Galliani explained that AC Milan would be unable to afford wages of the two midfield legends.
“Kaka is impossible, as his wages are the problem,” Adriano Galliani said. “David Beckham is a suggestion. However, I'd say it is 99.9% unlikely to happen.”
