Toronto Raptors - Landry Fields
The Toronto Raptors have offered restricted free agent, Landry Fields, a three-year contract worth $20 million dollars.  His new deal would pay him $5 million in year one, $5.2 million in year two, and a whopping $9.8 million in year three.  All this for a player who last year averaged 8 PPG, 25% 3FG, 56% FT.  Some believe that the Raptors are willing to overpay Fields, in order to make the Knicks match it, and cut them out of the Nash sweepstakes.

Boston Celtics – Jason Terry
The Boston Celtics have offered 6th man, Jason Terry, a three-year contract worth up to $15 million.  Terry said that he will give the Dallas Mavericks every opportunity to match that offer, but if they don’t, he’ll be playing in Boston this year. If the Mavs choose not to sign Terry, it means they have their priority set on signing a bigger free agent (Deron Williams/Dwight Howard).  And if the Celtics close the deal with Terry, it most assuredly means that Ray Allen is out of Beantown.  The downside for the aging Celtics is that Terry will be 35 years old by the time the season starts, he shot only 43% last year, and a backcourt of Rondo, Bradley, and Terry is really small.

Doesn't sound like the Mavericks are going to match the Celtics offer.  I hate seeing the Jet taking off somewhere other then Dallas

Landry Fields will be so, so much more impactful not playing next to the black hole that is Carmelo Anthony.
