Well, the one thing that is clear post-Week One? The Washington Redskins have sole possession of last place in the NFC East. With the 16-7 loss to the Giants, the Cowboys win over Cleveland and Philly’s win over St. Louis, the Redskins dwell at the bottom of the division, alone.
I want to address something here quick. Some of the comments we have had regarding the Redskins loss are outstanding comments, ones that needed to be made. Comments that force Redskins fans to look at the fact that the loss was only a 16-7 loss, on the road, to a division rival. Did many of expect the Redskins to win on the road to the Superbowl Champs in their house? Not sure I really did. A 16-7 loss isn’t even that bad. But, the tone of our articles were pretty damn clear and we stand by them. It wasn’t THAT the Redskins lost. It wasn’t THAT the Redskins are 0-1. It isn’t THAT the Redskins season is over. Far from it. But, what was deeply troubling and concerning is the incompetence of this offense to move the ball.
