The latest on Reggie Bush is that New Orleans have officially bid their farewell to the player. Bush will now be playing for the Miami Dolphins.
According to rumors, there was a contract dispute between New Orleans Saints and Bush. The team and player could not concur on a contract with mutual agreement hence the two parties saw it best to part ways.
Although Dolphins have agreed to terms with Bush, for them the question remains if he is tactically the most suitable player for their team. They have shown a great deal of interest in Bush, however their latest endeavors in the NFL market show a very different mindset.
Analysts have often suggested that Bush’s time with Saints should come to an end. They suggested a new man should try to fill his shoes. Apparently, Saints have finally taken up their advice with their latest signing.
The drafting of Heisman victor, Mark Ingram suggests Saints were fed up of Bush. Bush was more often on the bench than on field and when he was on field he was soon back on the bench nursing his injuries.
It seems like Bush did not depart from New Orleans on the best terms either. A tweet from his official Twitter account suggests he might have a personal vendetta with the Saints. His tweet on the draft night said, “it’s been fun New Orleans”. The tweet was immediately taken down which can only mean that Bush was not satisfied with the decision of his former management.
