Report: Amar'e Out 6-8 Weeks

According to league sources, Amar’e will miss the next six to eight weeks of the season after re-injuring his surgically repaired left knee.  It was originally reported that Amar’e would be ready to go in 2-3 weeks, but the cyst behind Stoudemire’s knee may take longer than expected to heal.  Look for Carmelo Anthony to play the bulk of the power forward minutes until Amar’e is ready to step back onto the court.
