Report: Eric Gordon Back in January
Eric Gordon hasn’t played many games since signing his lucrative contract with the New Orleans Hornets. The shooting guard has spent more time on the bench than on the court, but those days may soon be over.
Head Coach, Monty Williams said on Friday that, “He’s been doing so much rehab now I think it’s a matter of him getting his game condition back. The only way to do that is to play. But there’s some things he can do to build a base before he steps on the floor so that’s what (the Hornets training and strength and conditioning staff) will be doing over the next few days.”
Heading into Friday, the Hornets have a record of 5-20, but with Ryan Anderson leading the league in 3-point shooting, the return of rookie sensation Anthony Davis, and hopefully, a Eric Gordon, the Hornets have a nice nucleus to work with for many years to come. Life as a Hornets fan may be painful right now, but the Hornets do have a bright future – that is, if Eric Gordon actually does come back.
