According to Ric Bucher, Rasheed Wallace is working out at the New York Knicks practice facility with Marcus Camby and Kurt Thomas. The reason? The Knicks are considering bringing back the 38 year old power forward from retirement.
With Camby and Thomas – who are no spring chickens themselves – manning the front court, Wallace could serve as a good insurance policy in case of any injuries or playing games that are off a back-to-back. However, the aging Wallace would have to lose a considerable amount of weight, in order to get himself back into playing condition. The good news is that Rasheed's stroke is probably still there from long distance; filling in any gaps left by Josh Harrellson's departure.
