Mandatory Credit: Stew Milne-USA TODAY SportsRex Ryan never gave Tim Tebow a chance to start for his New York Jets, despite an abysmal starting QB situation that featured the most turnovers out of anyone in the NFL over the past few years.

Still, now that Tim Tebow has been signed by the rival New England Patriots, Ryan is hoping that Tebow finally gets his chance to start.

That's a bit of a pipe dream for Ryan, who would love nothing more than to see less of Tom Brady, who has made a habit of carving up the Jets' defense over the years.

Now that the Jets no longer have all-world cornerback Darrelle Revis, things could get even dicier for their defense when they play the Patriots.

Tebow worked out as a QB for the Patriots yesterday, but if he sees any playing time against the Jets, it will be in some other capacity.

Rex Ryan better be careful what he wishes for. It would be a shame for him and the Jets if Tebow were to have an impact in a win against his former team.
