Richie Incognito and Mike Pouncey watched Dolphins vs Chargers together
Pouncey later talked about Incognito and his mood, saying he was alright.
“He's doing really good. He's in good spirits. He wants to get back on this football team, he wants to get back and play football,” Pouncey said. “Richie Incognito is a football player, so that's the only thing he knows. He's missing it definitely. He'll be alright.”
Pouncey said that it was strange to sit together and watch the game without being in it.
"He looked over at me and was like, 'Man, I can't believe we're sitting here watching the Dolphins play,’” Pouncey said. “I was like, 'It's unbelievable, bro. I never pictured this ever in my life.' We got a laugh out of it, and we got to watch a great game.”
“I can't really speak for his feelings," Pouncey continued. "I can only tell you that he just wants to get back on this football team.”
Offensive tackle for the Dolphins Bryant McKinnie said that the interviews about the bullying investigation were only half an hour long. Even though he has only been with the franchise for as little as five weeks, he was not exempted from the interview.
"They asked a bunch of questions," he added.
On the other hand, Pouncey said he wasn’t paying attention to the time about his interview.
"I don't remember. It seemed like a long time but it probably wasn't. They got all the questions they wanted to get out of us and I gave them all the trustful answers,” Pouncey said.
