Robert Griffin III recites rap lyrics in the huddle

RG3 sometimes spits rap lines in the huddle. Hey... whatever works, right?

Mandatory Credit: Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY SportsRobert Griffin III says he's ready to run more. This is great news for the Redskins, who are sorely lacking offensive potency through the first two weeks of the season, and RG3's running ability is one of the things we haven't seen all that much so far.

While that's pretty interesting, the more interesting quote from the ESPN story was that Griffin is willing to do whatever it takes to give his team the energy they need... even spitting a few lines from a rap song, if that's what it takes.

"I'll do whatever we have to do to win the game. That's always been my mindset. I'm the quarterback. If I have to create that energy, if I have to spit a rap line in the huddle, I'll do it. Whatever it takes to get that energy."

I've always thought that RG3 looks (and sounds) a little like Andre 3000 from Outkast, so this is actually phenomenal news. Now I'm wondering what songs he chooses for his in-huddle hype. Does he go with something like Hey Ya? Does he go with something newer like Big Sean or 2 Chainz?

Tell us, Robert. America needs to know. What's your favorite song in the huddle?

I need to see the run. The defense isn't helping any. Seems the whole team imploded.
Yeah, he does look a little like Andre...
