After taking a break after losing the U.S. Open Final it was thought Federer would return for the final major Tournaments of the 2009 season, however rumore are indicating otherwise.

2	Very interesting..... Perhaps he just wants to rest and heal some aches and pains, but my guess is that he's giving himself more of a mental break as well; time to clear his head of distractions, relax and have some fun, then recommit himself to his game.

1	My bet is he just wants to spend time with his new baby and with his family. And with his money... why not? He's got nothin more to prove on a tennis court. He just plays for the enjoyement now. Funny how a newborn can change a champion's priorities!
