Critics continue to suggest that the partnership between Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale is bad movie being taken too seriously, but that hasn’t upset the coveted Portugal international. Real Madrid’s coveted forward, Ronaldo lauded Bale for showing consistent form in his early days at the club.

Ronaldo believes he has already formed a deadly partnership with Bale, although the Welsh winger is still finding his stride at Real Madrid. Ronaldo scored another hat-trick in Saturday’s 5-1 thrashing of Real Sociedad.

Carlo Ancelotti’s three-pronged attack of Ronaldo, Bale and Karim Benzema continues to flourish after a shaky start to the season. Ronaldo insists the partnership will continue to improve with the passage of time.

With another big victory on the charts Real Madrid are now only three points behind current league leaders and defending champions Barcelona. The La Liga champions will face their next opponent in the form of Real Betis on Sunday.

Ronaldo claims Bale is doing showing impressive chemistry with the rest of the team. The former Manchester United star also suggested that Bale would be an integral part of Real Madrid’s success this season.

“He's [Bale] doing very well with us, with the team. He's playing very well and I'm happy out on the pitch with him, with Karim and with [Angel] Di Maria,” Ronaldo told reporters after Saturday’s win.

“We started playing more slowly after the goals, but I'm very happy with today's match. The team is finding its stride. We've met our objective and it was a good win. We're very happy. The season is going well thanks to the work we're doing.”

Real Madrid goalkeeper Diego Lopez and manager Ancelotti were full of praise for Ronaldo after the destruction of Real Sociedad. Lopez suggests Ronaldo has further cemented his influence at Real Madrid with his superb form.

“He's [Ronaldo] incredible. Today we saw, once again, what a unique player he is. We're very lucky to have him here. He makes the difference every day,” Lopez said.

“We knew that adopting Ancelotti's ideas was only going to be a question of time. Little by little we're seeing the team that the boss wants and today we've taken another step towards what he's after.”
