It had been to quiet on the Rory Sabbatini words of wisdom front. Since he's not winning the FedEx Cup, he's thought of the one way to help his game catch up to his mouth."The way I see it, if you don't play all four events, you shouldn't be eligible," Sabbatini said Tuesday.MJD of the Fanhouse was kind of enough to interpret Rory Sabbatinglish for us:
Sabbatini equated the FedEx Cup playoff system to those in other sports.
"If they played one event for the playoffs in the NBA or baseball or football, you play one [game] and if you decide, OK, I'm going to skip this week, that's a forfeit," he said. "That's the way I see it."
"Waaaah! Tiger's too good! Tiger can win the FedEx Cup when he's not trying as hard as I am! Waaaaaah! Tiger makes me feel like an ugly little girl with a unibrow! Waaaah! I want Tiger to hold my hand and take me to get ice cream and tell me I'm a pretty little princess, but he won't, because he's mean! Waaaah!"And then Rory kept talking, something about he can still win the FedEx Cup.
I'd say you have a tremendous chance, Rory. After all, Tiger's really not all that good anymore. It's almost a guarantee Rory starts coming out with Tiger is cheating accusations. Now there's some Vegas odds I'd like to see."I figure I've just got to play well and everyone ahead of me has got to play badly. That's about as simple as it gets," he said.
"If you go by Vegas, I'm 66-to-1," Sabbatini said. "I think theoretically there's only five guys that can actually win the FedEx Cup now. So I've got a 20 percent chance, in my opinion, and the way I'm playing, I'd probably say a little higher than that."
