The Cowboys have been reeling lately, with losses to the Redskins and Cardinals in a 3-week stretch, as well as Tony Romo's injury, and Pacman Jones' suspension.Jerry Jones wasn't ok with how the team was looking, and so they made one of the biggest trades in recent history, acquiring Lions' WR Roy Williams.
The Cowboys gave up their 1st, 3rd and 6th round draft picks for Williams, who was a Pro Bowler in 2006. Williams has averaged about 65 receiving yards per game, and a TD every other game. Once Tony Romo returns from his finger injury, the Cowboys' offense will be the most potent air attack in the league.
The acquisition of Williams gives the Cowboys 2 players named Roy Williams. No telling how they're going to handle that situation, but it looks like just one more day in the life of football's craziest franchise.
