Can the Thunder win if Russell Westbrook misses time with a torn meniscus?

Apr 24, 2013; Oklahoma City, OK, USA; Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook (0) talks to NBA official Jason Phillips during play against the Houston Rockets in the second half during game two of the first round of the 2013 NBA Playoffs at Chesapeake Energy Arena. Mandatory Credit: Mark D. Smith-USA TODAY SportsRussell Westbrook has a torn meniscus, and he could now be out for the remainder of the NBA Playoffs.

That could spell serious trouble for the Thunder, who relied on Westbrook for 23 points and 7 assists per game.

There's currently no timetable for Westbrook's return, but it's quite possible that he will miss the rest of the playoffs. This could transform the Thunder from the prohibitive favorite in the Western Conference to just another team.

The Thunder might still be able to win the West, however, but the loss of Westbrook would definitely make things a lot harder in the Finals against the Miami Heat, whom most believe will win the Eastern Conference.

Here's video of where Westbrook most likely suffered his injury, in a collision with Patrick Beverly:

Do you think the Thunder can continue to win without Russell Westbrook? Or is this a dagger in the heart of their championship hopes?

IMO, the loss of Westbrook means the Western Conference is wide open for any team to take
