McCoy has spent the last 5 seasons as the offensive coordinator for the Broncos. Before that, he was with the Panthers from 2000-2008 in various offensive coaching positions, from offensive assistant to passing game coordinator.

He spent the last season coaching Peyton Manning, who put together a season that many believe is MVP-caliber.

Before that, he coached the likes of Tim Tebow and Kyle Orton.

The Broncos had the 4th ranked offense last year, largely thanks to Manning. Before that, during the McCoy era, they never finished better than 13th.

Call me crazy, but I don't think this is all that great of a hire.

Sure, his offense was great with Manning, but I don't think that should be considered a shock. Manning's offenses in Indianapolis were top 9 in the league 11 out of 12 seasons. They were in the top 4 eight of those times.

Without a superstar QB, McCoy's offense was nothing special.

Some people think that San Diego QB Philip Rivers is a superstar. Personally, I don't think he has really crossed into that category.

Perhaps McCoy can get the most out of him, but I'm not convinced yet. We'll see.

That is the funniest thing I have read on here today.

Going from Norv to McCoy, really that is the direction the Chargers were looking to go. No question about it, the Chiefs have the best Head Coach and GM in the AFC West right now.
