Mandatory Credit: Bob Stanton-USA TODAY SportsIn a rather rare occurrence last night, the San Francisco Giants played a road game in their home park.

The Giants and Reds had to make up a game that was previously postponed, and since they're in different divisions, they don't play each other again this year in Cincinnati.

Instead of creating some travel difficulties and figuring out how to get the Giants over to Cincy later in the year, they agreed to hold the game in Frisco as the 2nd half of a day-night doubleheader.

So, for perhaps the only time ever, the Giants were wearing their road gray uniforms and batting first in AT&T Park.

This might not be the biggest news in the world, but it's always fascinating when you see something different in a sport that's over a century old.

I was a little confused as to why the Giants were listed as the road team in the 2nd game of that double header, but I was too lazy to do the research. Thanks for droppin' knowledge Pat...interesting stuff.
