San Francisco Is Already More Than Prepared To Take On The Olympic Torch
by 100%InjuryRate 100%InjuryRate | >7 days ago2 Comment Comments »

I can't tell you how excited I am that the Olympic torch will be in San Francisco on Wednesday. It's literally going to be a chaotic, insane mess. I'm also looking forward to it because I've always wondered what it's like to be maced - and I'm not even planning on protesting.

But just so you know, SF isn't going to have some half-assed protest. No sir. We do it right out here on the west coast. And to prove that, protesters have already started to get going on what should be one epic protest.

Earlier today, three protesters climbed suspension cables of the Golden Gate Bridge and unfurled two large banners that said "One World One Dream. Free Tibet" and "Free Tibet."

Here are the psychos dedicated protesters climbing the bridge.

And here's a shot of the signs they put up. Shockingly "China Rules!" was not featured.

It's unclear if the protesters are part of an organized protest group called SF Team Tibet, but I'm not sure that really matters. The signs are still up as I'm typing this, so I have no clue when they'll be taken down.

So yeah, Wednesday should be fun. If we already have protesters risking life and limb to illegally climb up the Golden Gate Bridge, I can't wait to see what they'll do at ground level. Best. Olympics. EVAR.

I think they will just have it out on the water and this time have a Chinese cargo ship run into the Golden Gate.

+1 thumbs upIf it was a windy day in San Francisco then those protesters are truly insane. The one time I was out there it was windy and the bridge was swaying back and forth.

This is why we are the best. The US does the best in the Olympics and we do the best in protesting the Olympics that we are going to dominate.
