Saturday College Hoops Open Thread: Too Early To Talk Bubble?
Since it's already February it's time to bring out that B-word. The Bubble. A lot of teams featured today could use a win and then some if they plan on playing next month.

Here's today's TV schedule:

12:00 Syracuse at Villanova (ESPN)
12:00 Maryland at Georgia Tech (ESPN2)Regional coverage,
1:00 Kentucky at Georgia (CBS)
1:00 Pittsburgh at Connecticut (CBS)
2:00 Oklahoma State at Texas Tech (ESPN)
3:00 Stanford at Washington State (FSN) Regional coverage,
3:30 Kansas at Colorado (ABC)
3:30 Miami (Fla.) at Duke (ABC)
9:00 Arizona at UCLA, ESPN, 9 p.m.

Not the best schedule, but hopefully Gus Johnson is calling one of those CBS games and we'll be satisfied. I wouldn't put an Arizona upset out of reach, even at Pauley Pavilion.

The Cougars are looking more and more vulnerable, too.  I still think the Lopez twins are soft, but if they play like they did against the Huskies, WSU could get swept at home by the Bay Area.

Great game between WAZZU and Stanford. I think it was Weaver who had a chance to tie it up from the line after getting fouled while taking a three, missed one of three, and now Johnson is going to the line to make it a two or three point game with 5.4 seconds left in overtime.

First free throw is missed. Second is good.

Kid took it end to end for WAZZU with an open lane and missed the easy tying layup at the buzzer. How disappointing.

Honestly, I have no idea, other than that a 7-footer is a rare commodity.

I would never draft a Stanford big man (Tim Young, Collins twins, Lopez twins)...they are all 7 feet but are super soft and would rather shoot a fade away than take it to the hoop.  You can't play like that as a big man in the NBA.  One thing about the Collins twins, though, is that they are both legitimately smart...perhaps that, combined with their height, make them safer bets for bench warmers than  players who are more athletic, but also dumber and more likely to screw something up.
