Scottie Pippen: HOF?

We all know that Michael Jordan is going into the Hall. There's been all this buzz about it. But no one's talking about the guy that really made his 6 championships happen: Scottie Pippen.

Pippen is eligible this year, so now we should start wondering. Some notes on his career are that he was a member of the NBA's 50 Greatest Players list (1996). He also scored 18,940 points (16.1 PPG) in 17 seasons. He also had 5.2 APG, 6.4 RPG, 1.96 SPG, and 0.8 BPG. Pretty good stats, I believe.

When we look at the non-statistical section of his career, we see that without Pippen, MJ and would've gotten a mere 3 Championships (at max) and Phil Jackson would have 7.

Another thing to consider is that Pippen received 188.65 points on the databaseBasketball.com Hall of Fame monitor. A likely HOFer's score is 135 or over. But the formula is clearly not very accurate, because Joe Dumars, who already is in the Hall, scored less than 105. (formula: http://www.basketballreference.com/about/abouthofm.htm)

But Pippen was that good so that he has a spot on the wall clinced, fo' sho'.

Pippen HOF all the way! Jordan and Pippen on the court had each others back. I saw it all the time Jordan would go for a strip or do something and Pippen would be there to cover him if he didn't complete the play. People ask could Pippen have done it without Jordan the question is could Jordan have done it with out Pippen. YES he could but not as many times has he did. PIPPEN one of the 50 greatest players ever and should be in the hall of fame.

Pippen scored 188, but legends like Michael and Kareem scored 720 and 840, respectively.

Ohh how soon we forget. This is the same guy who the Bad boys used to give a hard foul to and take him out the game. The same no heart Pippen, who in the last two chips for the bulls dissapeared in crunch time but took credit for the real co-mvp of thoose series...........Dennis Rodman ! Do your homework before you respond. 16ppg is (average!)  for being a second option to the greatest player that we will ever see in our lifetime ! Jordan made his life very easy ! What we have to measure him by is how did he do with the Bulls when MJ was gone ! answer that and then tell me if he really deserves HOF status !

SSHHHHHHH!!!!!SAY SOMETHING ELSE BASELESS AND STUPID....GO AHEAD, MAKE MY DAY!!!

because of michael jordan's greatness, pippen was overshadowed and became more underrated if you think michael jordan's the best why not include pippen he has worth in the success in the bulls dynasty in the 90's Pippen for hall of fame!!!!!
