Today may just be "the last repetitive date of our lifetime" to some, and just another day to others, but to a member of the 12th Man family, today is a once-in-a-lifetime holiday. The Seahawks raised the 12th Man flag today, on a Wednesday, in honor of us. The Seahawks twitter account is treating its 12th Man followers to an insider's tour of the practice facility and Centurylink Field. Many fans (myself included) are wearing their Seahawks gear today with pride to recognize the day of the #12s.
Please enjoy my gameday experience photos below - my tribute to 12/12/12, the day of the 12th Man.

Before taking our seats, we always hit Touchdown City. Seattle may not have much for conventional tailgating, but they do have a place for fans to get together before the games, watch other NFL games going on, and have a drink. There are fan giveaways, free food, hair coloring, face painting, poster stations, Blue Thunder, Sea Gals, Mack Strong & the media, pro shop stations - the works. Games for the kids help make it totally family friendly, and it's free to anyone who wants to go; you don't even need a game ticket to join the pre-game festivities. It's usually quite crowded, but we got there pretty early on the day these shots were taken.

With it being so close to the holidays, when sharing 12th Man photos for the 12th Man holiday of 12/12/12, how could I leave out the 12th Man tree we have every holiday season in our home? Besides the cheap star tree topper (which used to be a Seahawks Santa hat) and white garland accents, and the homemade bows, all ornaments are Seahawks ornaments.
We might be a little bit out of control...but hey, isn't that what being a fanatic is all about?
