According to AZ Central, it appears it is McCain's fault that ASU isn't in the tournament. I always knew he was evil.

Let Tiger finish 18 and maybe need a playoff, then I'll watch.

Is funny to see your 10's and 11's consisting of 3 teams Mr. Lunardi says is out.

It's be a lot funnier if it looked exactly like his.

I really hope Bob Knight gives us his bracket.

You still have ASU in???  Man, I sure hope you are right..

No real surprise there. UNC overall number 1.

3/16/08

Can't say I'm surprised UNC is #1 overall. Glad to see Kansas given #1 over Tennessee.

3/16/08

That is rough for Memphis since the 2 seed in that bracket will be Texas and the regional finals will be in Houston.

ND/George Mason will be a fun one to watch. Fact its a 5/12 matchup too is nice.

7 Seed for Butler? Damn

Oklahoma getting a higher seed than Butler & Indiana? Really? As a OU fan, I am shocked.

3/16/08

#3 seed for my boys...rock'nroll

3/16/08

South Alabama as a 10 is really the only surprise to me..essential home game might mean an early exit for Butler, a team I normally would've probably had go to the Sweet 16.

3/16/08

Butler got screwed... a 7 seed and an essential road game?? That really sucks for them.

Plus, it seems like they're going mid vs. mid again, just like last year. Ugh.

Indiana is the most dangerous 8 seed ever.

3/16/08

If I'm UNC I'm pissed that I could be playing Indiana in the second round.  That Butler got flat out screwed.

Is everyone else's sleeper teams getting matched up against each other?

Villanova in means Syracuse out.

If Indiana regains their composure as a team, that is pure crap. If they play like they have since Sampson's departure then I have no worries.

Already, I feel tempted to go against Wazzu and with Winthrop.

3/16/08

Wow...Villanova's in...is that gonna make 8 Big East teams or is WV gonna get screwed?

3/16/08

Screw that.  G'Town gets a 2 and we get a 3?  I know it doesn't matter too much, but its just about respect.  We still get none.

3/16/08

There's Gonzaga-Davidson. Same exact thing as last year.

Mayo vs. Beasley? Wow.

Mayo vs. Beasley might just be the best 1st round matchup.

Clemson could make a serious run to Elite Eight. Again, I never choose Kansas going deep.

How do you feel about that potential 2nd round match-up with Indiana?  They haven't played really well in a couple weeks but if Gordon or White catches fire thats a scary match-up.

Sorry Jon, but if Oregon is in I don't know if your Sun Devils made it in.

I am just going to hope that the recent Indiana comes to play and not the one that has Final Four potential. DJ v. Tyler is going to be very entertaining.

I bet anything that Saint Mary's beats Miami.

Lunardi was saying that they were a lock because of how many wins they had in a weak SEC. 2 and 2 without Patterson, I say a really early exit.

They've been on a run toward the end of the season...they beat tennessee once and only lost to tennessee by 3 in the second matchup.  A few weeks ago I would've had the same reaction, but now...i think they've earned it.

Duke got the overall 5 seed.  How can the committee say the tournament games mattered when they clearly didn't put them into consideration.

I really just thought that they would've had to beat Georgia in order to get in though.

8 Big East teams and I still do not understand how Tennessee is the weakest 2 seed.

I don't think that they seed the 2-16 seeds that way. Only the 1's. I could be wrong.

Drake and Western Kentucky were two of my big sleeper teams. Damn you Committee.

If the Kansas St Beasley's beat USC I'm afraid they make it to the Sweet Sixteen.  There's only one guy for Wisconsin that can defend Beasley (Landry) and if he gets in foul trouble, its could be a huge day for him.

I think the greatest part of next week is that my finals are over on Tuesday to be off for 3-4 weeks.

This will be my first complete break during the Tourney to memory.

Enjoy filling out those brackets everyone!

As a Sooner fan I am scared to death of a possible 2nd round matchup with Boise St. I know there isn't a Statue of Liberty play in Basketball but still.

I like Bilas, but everyone should realize that the ACC sucked this year, and quite frankly the fact that Miami got a 7 is a joke.

Are there bigger big conference homers than Bilas and Digger Phelps (and Billy Packer, who's bitching about the ACC now too)?

Did you hear what he said?

"When you look at the data, the ACC gets fewer teams when they don't have someone on the Committee. Now, that is not always the case as far as...sometimes they deserve fewer teams, and I'm sure this year they did."

I did not hear what he said.  Thats kind of ridiculous.  I'm sure thats the same of every conference, and I can guarantee there's no anti-ACC conspiracy.

Now Dick just said Va. Tech should be in because they finished 4th in the Number 1 RPI rated conference.

Number one overall seed gets the play in game winner and then it goes, weak 2, strongest 3, weakest 4, and so on. At least I think.

What is up with these people and Virginia Tech? VTech beat *one* team that's in the field, and that was in the next to last game of the season.

ACC bias.  The ACC was top heavy to say the least this year, and if it weren't for a Miami win over Duke there would only be 3 teams from the ACC this year.
