Far be it from someone who wears a polo shirt and khakis just about everyday to criticize fashion, but seriously Sergio?
It's not going to matter what he's wearing tomorrow if he keeps up his game. Truth is, nothing he's done thus far matters. For Garcia, it's all about finally coming through in the 4th round of a major and debunking all detractors. At this rate, the Spaniard might be able to flop Sunday and still win the Open Championship. Through 14 holes, he's sitting at 9-under with a comfortable three shot lead. Some tough holes remain.
The other story of today's 3rd Round - Steve Stricker's Open record 64. Steve is currently at 6-under and the only golfer in sight of Garcia. Stricker was emotional afterwards, a round that impressive at a major had been a long time coming for the 17-year tour veteran.
I know you should never count Tiger out, but even with a quality round today (69) it would require his best round ever to vault over the 14 golfers ahead. Teeing off earlier, he'll have his chance to put a scare into the leaders.
