With the exception of watching Willis McGahee and Le'Ron McLain run wild on the Cowboys, I think my favorite NFL moment this season was watching the Jets lose to the Seahawks. Somehow, it seemed so appropriate that Brett Favre was thoroughly outplayed by Seneca Wallace in weather conditions that Favre used to be considered legendary in.
In addition to watching Favre stink it up, it was also great to see the Seattle fans enjoy the snow, as in they hucked snowballs at the Jets players as they left the field.
Now, some of you may say that's kind of classless by the Seahawks fans, but I'll counter that by saying the Jets clearly deserved it. Even better, was that Jets team captain Shaun Ellis, who earlier this season showed wonderful team leadership by getting arrested for marijuana possession, decided to huck some snow at the fans himself. Truly a great team captain.
At least the odds of the Jets making the playoffs are slim at this point. And it's been quite a treat to watch Brett Favre almost single-handedly piss away the Jets' playoff chances in the past few weeks. I just look forward to Favre attending the Pro Bowl in Hawaii after he doesn't make the playoffs and throws 20+ interceptions and everyone there says, "What the hell are you doing here?"
Seriously, what a joke.
