Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to splash some cash in order to bring new faces into the Manchester United squad. After receiving a massive boost in the form of funds from the Manchester United owners (owing to the New York flotation), Sir Alex Ferguson has once again entered the football market with interest in top-notch football players.
Reports from the Mirror and various other media outlets point towards Sir Alex Ferguson’s interest in the latest football prodigy from Brazil, Lucas Moura. Lucas Moura has created a lot of hype in the football market following his superb form for Sao Paulo last season. The 19-year-old attacking midfielder appeared in 35 games, scored nine goals and provided seven assists.
Sir Alex Ferguson has once again sent a team of officials to analyze if the deal with Lucas Moura is still possible. Chelsea and Real Madrid are also in the race to sign in Lucas Moura. However, the teenage is inclined towards a move to Manchester United.
