Sony names Ryan Howard their cover-boy for MLB The Show 2008. Ryan is coming off a season in which he was second in the NL in homers (47) and RBI's (136). Kind of odd that this wasn't one of his most successful years, and Ryan won the MVP the year before.
"Ryan Howard, last year's face of Subway, will have his mug on Sony's "MLB 08 The Show" video game when it hits store shelves in March.
Sports Business Daily reported yesterday that the Phillies slugger will be used in print, TV and point-of-sale ads for the game. Fans will be able to activate his home-run stroke on Sony's PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable platforms. Expect to see the ads as soon as late February."
