Sooners Stay on Top
Oklahoma remembers how to play the role of No. 1.  QB Sam Bradford threw for 379 yards with two touchdowns, DeMarco Murray ran for two scores and four other Sooners got into the end zone in another lopsided victory over Baylor, 49-17 Saturday in the Big 12 opener for both teams.

Oklahoma continues to dominate the first quarter, outscoring the over-matched Bears 28-0 with touchdowns on the first four Sooner drives.  The Sooners (5-0) have scored at least two touchdowns in the first quarter every game this year, outscoring opponents 103-3.  This week Oklahoma out gained Baylor 226-44 in total yardage in the first quarter, with Bradford hitting Manny Johnson on a 53-yard TD pass only 70 seconds into the game.

The Sooners have never lost to Baylor (2-3), winning all 18 games in the series. The last five in Waco have been decided by an average margin of 36 points.
