Sports Tonight (or lack thereof): Why Does the ALCS Have the Night Off?
READ MORE:

I thought we had moved past these silly days without any meaningful sporting events to watch. Due to the Colorado Rockies torrid stretch and extremely poor planning that's where we sit tonight without 'the magic' until Thursday.

Instead of playing on a third night in a row in the same city (don't they do that during the regular season), MLB chose to give both teams a night off on a Wednesday when they would be the only show in town. Tomorrow, FOX will lose some (and with the current ratings, 'some' is significant) viewers to college football on ESPN (#2 South Florida vs Rutgers). Does this make any sense to you? I didn't think so.

So it's the replay of Nevada-Boise State (ESPN Classic, 8PM) mixed with some Kitchen Nightmares for me. Should anything pop up, feel free to discuss it here.

I know that USF is good and all, but that was weird reading  "#2 USF".

While I severely hate Gordon Ramsey along with the rest of the culinary industry; as his shows are probably the most ridiculously fake (even though most seem to forget) -- I don't see much else to watch tonight...

I usually don't like Gordon, either, but for whatever reason I've been interesting in that show. Probably because there isn't anything else on Wednesday's lately.

The Gordon Ramsey in real life is actually an alright guy with a short temper that all good chefs have to have.

The Gordon Ramsey on tv is a mad and crazy chef, while good for ratings, if he ever would act that way in real life he would have:

1) Less than 10 fingers
2) No coworkers
3) The coworkers that did work for him, would meet him back by the trash on a Friday night, and there probably wouldn't be a Gordon Ramsey anymore...

This Real World season has been great. Tonight the girls finally have it out I think. Plus South Park has returned to finish season 11. Mostly I will watch those and the 2 episodes of the Office I dvr'd off of TBS last night.

I think the day is off for the Red Sox to feed off their anger... and get ready to pull off 3 straight wins. Yeah, that sounds right.

I guess I'll have to watch the re-air later tonight.  I love how South Park continues to stay relevant this whole time.

It is because they can do the episodes in less than a week. If you are a South Park fan, you'll really like this episode. It is one of those two stories going on episodes.

The last time I sat down and watched South Park was the "Oprah" episode....and...yea...that was awkward.

If regular season NBA is unwatchable until the playoffs, I don't even want to THINK about preseason NBA.

And hockey? Go Lightning!
