Last year her class did a little "Christmas Around the World" thing. Kiernan, my daughter (front and center, with the scarf and cheesy grin) wouldn't sing, but I thought she sure looked cute up there.

Ok so this wasn't a real performance, but she sure was jamming out to Metallica's "One" in her Seahawks Santa hat she got for Christmas from her grandpa. Her air guitar is quite obviously beyond compare.

You see that look Santa's giving her? You'd think he knows she's feeding him a line of bull about how good she's been all year. Later that day she told me that she knew it wasn't the real Santa Clause - because his gloves were white and not black.

We had a Gingerbread House Day last year at her school - I'm kind of bummed we didn't do it this year, so we'll do something at home. I'm not quite sure what that is on the roof, but the only thing she really let me help with was the candy canes at the door.

This is her, all dressed up and ready for the program this year, which is Saturday. She has practice tonight and a rehearsal tomorrow, so needless to say we've been busy busy busy preparing. If you haven't already guessed, she's one of the Snowflakes performing Waltz of the Snowflakes in the Nutcracker this year.
Tomorrow morning she has a program, and she's so excited - she gets to be Rudolph in some sort of little performance the entire school is putting on.I'll bring pics!
Do you have any stories and pictures involving your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friend's kids, or even yourself creating fun holiday memories? Or maybe just some pics in holiday garb you'd like to post? Please - share them!

"excuse me, what?" She had NO clue what Kiernan was talking about.
