We probably shouldn't have been surprised that San Antonio won Game 7. The Spurs executed better throughout and weren't really threatened until Jannero Pargo started going off at the end of the game. The big three for the Spurs all played well, and when that's happening, they're tough to beat. To the Hornets' credit, they played well with the exception of Peja Stojakovic, which is another thing we should've seen coming a mile away.

For the most part, I'm of the school that talent trumps experience. However, when the talent is close to equal, experience can be the difference maker, and in the end, that's what happened here. I'm still not sure if the aging Spurs have the legs to make it through two more rounds, but with every game they win, it gets tougher and tougher to bet against them.

The final four is set: Lakers vs. Spurs, Celtics vs. Pistons. Who do see advancing to the NBA Finals?

San Antonio 91, New Orleans 82

Lakers in 6 and Pistons in 6.

Duncan is going to put up monster points this series, but if the Lakers can control the boards and run, San An is done for.

Celtics have yet to win on the road against two teams that are no where near as good as the Pistons.  Detriot will split the first two in Boston and then win all their games at home.

I'll never root for the Spurs, but I hate the Lakers almost as badly.  Go Pistons.. I guess?
