St. Louis Rams Start 0-3, Lose 24-3 to Tampa Bay Buccaneers
This just in: The St. Louis Rams are not good.

I know they've lost Orlando Pace for the season, but that excuse can't make up for some of the very poor playcalling. The boxscore is deceiving. Steven Jackson did carry the ball 30 times, but the Rams didn't opt for the ground game enough, particularly in the red zone.

St. Louis' defensive line is improving, but 182 yards on the ground allowed to the Bucs is a major red flag for the rest of the season.

Hopefully, Scott Linehan hasn't gotten too comfortable in his new home.

This is only a surprise to the Rams fans.

I had a feeling that the Rams wouldn't be able to Pace themselves against the Bucs this week.

Honestly, punnery aside, I really wondered how much of a difference 1 person could make on the O line for the Rams? It's true all those stories you hear about a QB working well with his O line and the one being able to read the other's mind with just a look or a glance in a direction. Team Chemistry really plays a factor...maybe, just maybe the Bucs are finding some while the Rams are losing some.  Time, as they always say, will tell.

Offensively, the O-line is the backbone of the team.  If you cant open holes for the running backs or give the quarterback time to set and get the ball to the receivers, then you will struggle.  The Rams starting offensive line this season was suppose to be Orlando Pace, Richie Icognitio, Brett Romberg, Mark Setterstrom and Alex Barron.  After 3 games, Romberg is the only guy to start and finish a game where he started.  Pace is lost for the season, Setterstrom went down today with a knee injury and Icognitio hasnt taken a snap since the preseason.  To make matters worse, the Rams moved Barron to the opposite side so he could protect the blindside of Bulger.  That means center Brett Romberg is the only guy playing and playing in the right position.  That, along with pathetic red zone calling and the inability to stretch the field vertically leads to disaster.  At this point, the Rams might have issues going 4-12 and with the way the Cowboys handed the Bears a whipping tonight, next week could be real ugly

They are killing my fantasy team. I hate you Steven Jackson and Torry Holt!
