About Me:
I get goosebumps for exciting victories and tears for championship defeat (even if it's not my team). I thrive on football and hockey, but I'll watch almost any sport - and give me enough time, I'll be obsessed. I cheer for the underdog if I don't have a set team preference for a specific game - and I'm thrilled when the Cinderella team wins it all (as long as it's not against my team!) Pro-retirement ceremonies are one of the very few things that can make me cry but I always watch them anyway. I LOVE road trips and anything outdoorsy - but my idea of *A* perfect day is spent curled up in an overstuffed chair with sunflower seeds and a drink, the Q on the laptop, the NFL on from morning through afternoon and the NHL in the evening on a big screen TV. Color me happy...but call me lazy.

Penguins Hope for 18th Consecutive Home Win - Will the Red Wings Snap the Streak?
by Jess Jess

Game Three was unquestionably the best game of the series so far - I fully anticipate that Game Four will be just as intense. The Penguins play their best at home, and tonight they're in The Big Igloo again - so expect another exciting night of hockey.

You can also expect to hear a lot more about Sid the Kid tonight; especially after his monumental performance Wednesday. If the Pens plan to continue doing as well as they did last game for the rest of the series though, Fleury's play between the pipes will be key. Detroit looked strong in their loss to the Penguins, and I stand firm on the claim that this will be a long series. If the rest of it is anything like we saw Wednesday, bring it.

For those of you who were watching basketball, or something else other than Game 3, check out some of the highlights:

It gives me goosebumps - just that there's so much history that they can put together a frame by frame like that is amazing.

That is a great spot.

One thing that I've consistently seen from the NHL spots over the years.  They are good.

One would think you would at least see them on NBC leading up to the Finals.  I only catch The Office and Earl on NBC.  And on those to programs, I didn't see any NHL spots as I skimmed over the ads with the DVR.  Granted, it's been a couple of weeks since I've recorded anything on NBC...

So, Scott, kramer, any insight into why the Pens' arena seats are RED?

One more win, and one more year I can be thankful my dad didn't raise me a Bruins fan.

Mannnn What a Game. I nearly almost got Kicked out of my house last night Due to my obnoxious Screaming. No offense to you Pens fans, but The Pens have NOTHING on the Wings. Experience pays off, and Patience is a virtue. That Penalty Kill from the 5 on 3. BEST PART OF THE NIGHT. Not Hudler's amazing goal that MAF didn't see, The Penalty Kill. That is what I believe Won us that game. We're Bringing Stanely Backkkkk

Many in the media were fooled by how they played against the Senators, Rangers and Flyers.  None of those teams are that good.  The Pens are good, but not good enough to take on any of the top west teams.  Let alone the best the west has to offer.

The Mellon Arena opened 23 years before I was born.
