Just how bad are the Steelers this year?
They've now lost to the Titans, Bengals and Bears by 7, 10 and 17 points, respectively. They've turned over the football 9 times, without forcing a single turnover on defense. Their -9 turnover differential is tied with the Giants (also 0-3) for the worst in the NFL, and the Raiders are the only other team who also haven't forced a turnover.
Are they really this bad of a team? Or have they just had some bad luck?
I'll readily admit that the Dexter finale and the penultimate episode of Breaking Bad had my attention last night, so I wasn't able to watch the game. Still, it seems as though a 5-turnover effort isn't exactly what you'd want from a team that has been a Super Bowl contender on a pretty consistent basis for a few years.
They travel to Minnesota to play the Vikings next week, followed by a bye and then a trip to play the Jets. Do you think that they'll be able to rebound over the next few weeks, or is this just a really bad team?
