Stephen Curry Goes Off in New York

The Golden State Warriors are remaking their image this season and a large part of their success has been the resurgent and healthy Stephen Curry to go along with David Lee and Jarrett Jack.

Curry went 11-13 from the three point line and 18-28 overall to scorch the Knicks for 54 points, however his teammates (and Curry himself) were unable to protect the ball at the end of the game, consistently allowing the Knicks extra opportunities at the rim - and they converted. New York won the game 109-105.

On a fast break, Curry had a 3-on-2 to his advantage with the score at 99-97 Knicks and he pulled up for a transition three-ball to give the Warriors a 100-99 lead, which they were unable to hold onto.

Curry was considered by most an All-star snub this season as he is having the best season of his career because he is also healthy. At 21 points, 6.5 assists 4 rebounds and 46% from distance, Curry has to be a favorite for Comeback player or Most improved player of the league.

Well...when your opponent is 6'7'' Carl Landry, if you dont grab 28 rebounds then somethings up...

Just think, it wouldn't have happened if he had been suspended for the incident with the Pacers (which I think he should have been).

Incredible game, though!

Insane performance. Every shot seemed as easy as a layup. Being in a zone like that is so fun to watch. Would've been nice to get a W. Crazy game all around. Tyson Chandler had 28 rebounds. Not having David Lee may have been the difference due to the Knicks total domination on the glass. Tough call for Mark Jackson to leave shorter guys on Chandler. The Knicks had over 20 second chance points. I felt Jackson should've tried Biedrins more to keep Chandler off the glass. He stayed with Landry and got burned.

Had the dubs won, this would have been the best win of thee NBA season, not just for the team since DLee was suspended.  Amazing performance by Steph.
