Even though I don't have any tattoos, I'm not exactly adverse to them. Basically, I consider it to be your choice. You do what you want to do. But I will say that once you start getting tats on your head, I'm going to start telling you that you're a dumbass. Because that's exactly what you are when you do that.

So add Stephon Marbury to the list of dumbasses out there (although I believe he was already on this list) because he just got a tattoo on his dome. And perhaps even funnier is that it's not really a tat that has any special meaning to him, it's a tat that's the image from his shoe line.

Stephon Marbury bounded off the Knicks New York Knicks team bus at Vegas' Valley High last night - a new tattoo inscribed on his left temple. The "3" logo found on his Starbury sneaker and apparel line is now a permanent part of his bald head.

So now he's a dumbass and a walking billboard. Truly an unbeatable combination. Either that or he's secretly been a huge Dale Earnhardt fan who just went public. By the way, no one has an actual picture of the tat yet, the picture above is an artist's rendering of it.

What makes all of this even weirder is that there's a strong possibility Marbury might not even be on the Knicks this coming season. Hell, he was almost cut before last season. So he better hope that if he gets waived by the Knicks he can grab a number 3 jersey with the team that picks him up. Otherwise...awkward.

By the way, in addition to all this, the company that was selling Starbury's sneaks, Steve & Barry’s, has filed for Chapter 11. As a result, Starbury is now reportedly going to be hawking them on Amazon. All the more reason NOT to get get the tat.

Also, the shoes were last selling for $8.98 before Steve & Barry's went belly up. Marbury, who wears the sneaks, has had ankle and foot issues the past two years. I see absolutely no connection between the two though. By which I mean...never mind. You know what I mean.

I just hope he doesn't wind up on my Warriors. That's all I ask.
