This historic election season is not quite over yet. The NBA All-Star Game ballots were released today and you the fans get to pick the starters, a timeless tradition of popularity contests. Well this season there is a way that us fans can make a mockery of the fan vote.Stephon Marbury and Eddy Curry can be voted in as starters for the All-Star Game.
That's right, Marbury and Curry could start the All-Star game without even playing a single minute for Mike D'Antoni's Knicks this season.
I know that it is a long shot for either of them to make the All-Star team by fan voting in the East with the likes of Dwight Howard, Dwayne Wade, and Vince Carter being fan favorites but as we have seen, this election season is about change.
So my challenge to all of those of you on FanIQ, lets stuff the ballot boxes and get Eddy Curry and Stephon Marbury as All-Star Game starters.

Curry just got activated by default and Marbury is patiently awaiting his exit out of NYC. Barring a nuclear explosion from steph he has no choice but to sit and wait. ALL-STAR GAME? A pipe dream.

The 2010 NBA All-Star Weekend is coming to Dallas. but according to the article they would only use 50000 seats for a basketball game.

I've always hated the idea of fan voting for all-star games, so will have to vote Starbury 08-09!
