Steve Nash is speaking remarkably honestly about his career

They try not to make waves, they shroud their answers in cliches and rhetoric, and they try not to provide bulletin board material for fans or opponents.

Perhaps it's just his advanced age (for the NBA, at least) of 40 years old, but it looks like Steve Nash isn't remotely interested in keeping up the façade.

He's being incredibly open and honest, including freely admitting that he's only interested in keeping his career going for the money that the Lakers still owe him.

On one hand, that's probably not what a lot of Lakers fans want to hear.

On the other hand, wouldn't all of us do the same?
