-A lot is being made of Bill Buckner throwing out the first pitch for the Red Sox yesterday. Who would you rather have throwing your first pitch: Steve Bartman or Bill Buckner?? Could Bartman ever be forgiven??

-Will Bill Self leave Kansas or not? Kinda weird you go from National Champs of Kansas, traditional mega power of basketball to...Oklahoma State?? Bill...I'm sure Kansas will take care of you...is the calling of alma mater that strong? Ah the smells from this pot.... And Stanford's coach is going from their Sweet Sixteen to.....LSU??? Interesting.


-UCLA will be losing two key players...No Love for you and no Collison. Makes getting to four straight Final Fours even more difficult.

-It's been said I need to talk about hockey more often. Gack! But-DC is ablaze with hockey mania. The Capitals' mircle run to the playoffs was very similar to Baseball's Colorado Rockies. Will the results be the same? If I were to follow the NHL playoffs with any care level, I will root for a deep run by the Penguins.

-I saw something on ESPN News that I thought was interesting in the college football world. Rich Rodriguez, head doofus of Michigan's "football" team is not making friends in the Big Ten. I'll tell you: I hate Ohio State and Michigan, but holy cow, their game in November may be at the top of my wish list for must see television. I find myself actually leaning toward the Buckeyes in this one and that's saying something. Who is more hated now in college football: Nick Saban or Rich Rodriguez?
