Welcome to the summer slog everyone. It's baseball, baseball and, um, baseball. Oh, and some NASCAR. Should be a fun summer. I hope.

College baseball: World Series, at Omaha, Game 5 CS Fullerton vs. Virginia (ESPN2, 2 p.m.) and Arkansas vs. LSU (ESPN2, 7 p.m.)

Major League Baseball: Milwaukee at Cleveland (ESPN, 7 p.m.)

2	It's times like this when I miss the Arena Football League. I guess now we will get to see which sport and league leads to more scoring, the WNBA or the MLB. I think it's a toss-up.

0	I HATE this time of year....especially July. I love baseball, but when it's the only thing to watch (outside of NASCAR) until football season starts, I get reeeeeeealllly bored..... Thank God for MLB Extra Innings!

0	No more hockey... And with baseball playing interleague games, the only sport left is the MLS. And the Quakes have been sucking harder than the sharks in the playoffs! (I refuse to watch or take part in interleague games. Since the games count, I still hope the Giants and A's win, but I don't watch the games until the proper opponents are back.)

0	This is when video games kick in pretty hardcore. Not that there is anything wrong with baseball, but I think I'd become depressed as a Cubs fan if I started watching every single game.
