Sunday Night Football Live Thread: Giants Vs Cowboys
The Giants And Cowboys Open Up The House That Jerry Built [Sunday Night Football Live Thread]
Tonight's Sunday Night Football game features the Giants, the Cowboys, and the monstrosity known as Cowboys Stadium. I'll put the over/under at 2 punts hitting the scoreboard.

Personally, I'd love to see the Giants win this one. I pretty much hate both teams, but the Cowboys losing their first game in their new stadium would just be too perfect to pass up.

The game starts at 8:20, and you can see it on NBC, along with Faith Hill, inaccurately singing about all of us waiting all day or Sunday night. I don't know about you, but I wasn't waiting at all... I was watching football.

At any rate, if you're watching the game, be sure to chat it up here all night. Give us your predictions, your hopes, dreams, and your analysis throughout the game. And as always, enjoy the game!

It is an incredible stadium... I can only hope the niners get a cathedral like this when they finally get a new place to play.

Feagles better hit that damned scoreboard with his first punt, just to make Jerry look like more of an ass...or better yet, the Giants play so well, the never have to punt.

Jerry Jones saying the players will play up to the level of the stadium....the man has an ego the size of....well.....Alaska......go Giants......

I don't care which team has to punt first, I just want that team's punter to hit that scoreboard so they can all yell DO OVER!

Jerry Jones actually said one thing that I like... he said that the stadium should offer every fan an experience  that they can't get at home, watching on their TV. Great point, many stadiums are created without that in mind. Not sure if he lived up to it entirely, but I like the mentality.

She's always beautiful... it's Faith freaking Hill. She still has no place whatsoever on an NFL broadcast. She is the opposite of football.

1. Damnit, he didn't punt it high enough to hit the scoreboard.
2. That return was obviously coming back when a flag gets thrown back there.

Smith was way too open there.

I picked NY in this one.  This week has been upside down. 8-6 game picks, 8-6 spread, 7-7 over/under. Considering how the week went, could’ve been worse.

Wow, nice run by Barber.

For once CC is right, that was indeed a horrible throw.

Even Madden would've been able to tell us that.

Um, Felix?  You really should hold on to the ball better.

Damn, it's falling apart for the Cowboys in a hurry here.

You are correct. Faith Hill has an effect on men somewhere that football shouldn't....unless you are really weird.

WOW.  That should be a pick 6.  Off of Witten's foot, not the ground.

the ref should be suspended and fined for blowing that one....

I still never heard a whistle until after he got into the end zone.

Yes, now they pay money to watch the game on a much larger TV. Seriously, is that thing really necessary? Jones seems to be compensating for something

/ like a lack of playoff wins, perhaps?

Lawrence Tynes = fail

That kick was off to the left from the time it left his foot.

Just so everyone knows, the Cowboys will lose this game. Because since it's the first game in the new stadium, it's a big game... and Romo always finds a way to lose those.

Romo sucks. I have officially decided that he is going to give me a coronary. I don't know how he lets dumb face show him up.

TD Dallas, but lots of time.

Wow, how have the giants not realized after three times that when Romo looks at the receiver and yells, "kill, kill, kill" he's gonna hand it off?  On the second one you can clearly hear someone yelling run but yet they still miss it.  Hopefully, Romo can avoiding giving this game away at this point...

I am sure Jerry would cry at this result, if he hadn't sold his soul to satan long ago and also lost his tear ducts in one of his horrible face lifts.

I'm not completely sure, but I think Satan may have sold his soul to Jerry.

Flozell Adams tripping Justin Tuck was straight up bush league.  Looks like Flozell was still bitter about Saturday's game in South Bend.

Oh yeah, Tony Romo sucks.  The Giants had two receivers with more receiving yards than Romo had passing yards.  I have to imagine Wade Phillips seat is scolding hot right about now.

Ya and Phillips looks so clueless sometimes on the sidelines.
