The New England Patriots and San Diego Chargers have suffered possibly the worst injuries in the entire NFL this year. The Patriots lost Tom Brady for the year, and the Chargers lost Shawne Merriman.
Now, the teams will meet in Sunday Night Football in a rematch of last year's AFC Championship game. Both teams have had a hugely disappointing loss to the Miami Dolphins. The Patriots lost to them 38-13 in week 3, and followed it with a bye, and then a win against the 49ers. The Chargers lost to the 'Phins 17-10 last week. Both teams have been a little disappointing, but the Patriots still only have one loss, albeit against a horribly weak schedule thus far. The Chargers are 2-3, and already 2 games behind the Broncos in their division, but have a chance to pick up a game after the Broncos lost to the Jaguars.
64% of FanIQ picked the Chargers. Can't say I blame them, since Tom Brady is the key to the Patriots' offense. But since I have faith in my team, I'll say Patriots 20, Chargers 19.
