Sunday Night is Football Night on FanIQ -- Patriots vs Chargers Live Thread
Seeing as how these two recently played in last year's playoffs, the San Diego Chargers would be well advised to use different defensive signals than they used during that game.

OK, now that I've got the PatriotGate dig out of the way, let's go and just talk some football tonight. Of course, you're allowed at least one mention of the Pats stealing signals tonight, too.

PatriotGate, SpyGate, what have you, trumps the original storyline for tonight and that's LaDainian Tomlinson's revenge. He's done his fair amount of talking so he'd be well advised to back it up tonight.

The game's almost here, so I'll stop talking. Feel free to discuss the game here.

I just noticed a HUGE mistake that I made on one of my fantasy leagues...

My strategy on defense this year is to pick up a different defense every week. I pick whoever I think is playing the worst offense for that week.

Any guesses on who I grabbed this week? Hmmm...

Here was my logic: They forced 6 turnovers last week, and they're playing a team that only scored 7 points in week 1.

Well...Cincinnati's defense screwed me this week...giving up 51 FREAKING POINTS to the Browns.

LT better bring it tonight or he is going to look stupid.

This is gonna be the Game Of The Week. Here you got 2 high powered offenses and balanced defenses! Will LT  run the Patriots into the ground? Or will Tedy and company shut down  LT  and and put a mark in the loss category for the Chargers?  Im gonna enjoy this one.

I don't know about you guys but didn't Goodell seem kind of weak during his interview with Costas?  He got better as he went on, but he didn't impress me too much.

Yea but I think hes doing a great job. Tagliabue  let the players walk  all over him. Goodells  got the testicular fortitude to take a stand!

Looks like either Brady doesn't need to cheat, or the Patriots are already videotaping the Chargers. Because the Pats have been razor sharp so far.

Cameras or not, that's the right gameplan against the Chargers. Just pass over there front 7 all day.

This might be one of the Belichick games where Brady throws 50 times.

Considering I was 2-6 against the spread early, I'm fine with 6-8 vs spread.  9-5 straight up, 11-3 vs Over/Under, that's really good, I like.

INT for the Pats...this one could get ugly.  Great leaping pick by Colvin.

I'm in Hawaii...when the Sox are on, I have to watch, because I don't get a chance to see them every day. Same with the Pats, too, so it's a little frustrating that they're both on at once.

I dunno  I think  his  vision and timing of the secondaries would be a lil more up to  par if  he  plays the preseason! Its a long offseason and when u  jump right into  a game after a long vacation it takes time!

TD Pats....what an embarrassment by the Chargers.  And people didn't believe me when I said they were absurdly over-rated.

Oh yeah, and the Patriots are really FN good.

You think this week will be enough for them to take over #1 in your Power Rankings?

After Indy barely beat Tennessee, I figure the Pats will get back to #1.

Plus, the Colts stomping the Saints is less impressive after seeing Tampa do it...

Ugh...they just called Tom Brady "Manning-like". Brady is the only QB in the league to whom that could be considered an insult.

Figures, as I type this, he throws a pick. They need to stop throwing to Stallworth on every play.

Somebody better watch out for those Patriot "mascots" in the endzone...I think they are sending out signals to the team!  Hell, "one if by land, two if by sea" worked pretty damn well in the 1770s, right?

I'm kidding Pat, I'm kidding...

I'd love to see it happen. They have 2 tough games in particular, @Va Tech and @Clemson.

Alright...a quick question...

Are the Patriots a GREAT team, or are they THE GREATEST team?

Apparently he can't run his mouth and his legs at the same time, or he might have a few more yards.

Adalius Thomas, Randy Moss, Wes Welker...and more...

The Patriots had such a great off-season, it's just insane.

Looks like the Chargers are finally putting a drive together. It's about damn time.

At this point, as long as we keep LT's sorry butt out of the end zone, I'm a happy panda.

SOX/YANKS UPDATE:

Bottom 7th, still 1-1...2 out, runner on 3rd
Joba the Butt is pitching for the Yanks, nearly hitting Jacoby Ellsbury.

Nice to see that the Bolts were finally able to find the end zone. Maybe the game will actually get competitive. I doubt it, but maybe it could happen.
