TEENS MAY GAMBLE IN REAL CASINOS WITH REAL MONEY...FOR REAL!
by CASINODIARIO CASINODIARIO | >7 days ago

I have run into some pretty interesting piece of news! It says all gamblers under 21 may soon be able to lay down bets. Wait! Don’t get your hopes too high fellas! This will only be possible at the Meskwaki casino. For the rest of you, you still have a couple of more shaves to perform before calling yourself a real man.

So, the Meskwaki tribal council is considering a plan to allow 18- to 21-year-olds play poker games. Some might say this is not bad; giving the fact that most of the illegal stuff going on online is done by underage people. Playing under legal terms, would add transparency and would allow more control over the niche.

However, others think this could actually be the worst thing to happen, since the UIGEA. Teens shouldn’t play on real money, not to mention betting. The main reason is that underage person should study, not work, and money often result from working. Allowing kids to go online on real bucks, could only encourage them not to work and suck more money from paps to get some others, in the easiest and nicest way there is.

However, the council believes it can make the change because the players, and not the casino, provide the jackpot in the game. That’s true, but how about asking their selves about the source of the money?

Moreover, the same tribe has a gambling compact with the state of Iowa, which regulates games like blackjack. The place is like a heaven for those who cannot perform gaming legally. And soon it might become overcrowded with MIT students ready to teach casinos some high-class cheating maneuvers. But, hey, at least they’ll provide the jackpot in the game, right?

The funky tribe also mentioned that the casino would not have a financial stake in the poker games, but hopes the games would attract more customers to the casino. Of course it will!

I hear there is already a small, but growing subculture among the teens, which has its roots in online gambling. Blogging or chatting is so old-fashioned these days... And even I would chose playing poker at online casinos as a much more entertaining way of making money, rather than taking a summer job folding clothes at the mall, or working in a greasy fast-food.

Until now, thanks to the controversial U.S. ban on online gambling, no domestic companies can do business on the web. Minors under the age of eighteen were not allowed to play in internet casinos, at all. Still, to play undercover, many have purchased Visa and MasterCard prepaid debit cards, and load them up with the funds they want to use, at the online casino of their choice.

But hey, thanks to Meskwaki tribe, they won’t need to pretend they study anymore!
