Well, here we go again. One whole week from tomorrow we will be at Talladega Superspeedway.  Man, I cannot wait! The camper has been cleaned and restocked, the food is in the freezer, the beer is on order, and the tickets are here!!! Whooo yaaaa!!! I am not sure how the camping goes at other tracks, but from 8 years (16 races) experience at 'Dega, folks get there on Monday to camp and the campsites don't even open 'til Tuesday at the earliest, for an event that doesn't happen 'til Sunday!!!! Talk about the ultimate tailgate party!!

 Now, I love me some college football,  a 'lil NFL an college BB, BUT those tailgate parties pale in comparision to a NASCAR party!! We know how to do it right!!! Personally, at our camp, you can be a fan of ANY driver, stop by, say hi, give/get a lil shiz, drink a few of your favorite beverages, and leave (most of the time several hours later) havin a great time. Not so at MOST other venues I have been too. At the others, you are for one or the other. If your not rootin for the "one" then you ARE "the other".

Not so at a NASCAR race. Any given Friday (and sometimes Thursday) you have AT LEAST 43 different drivers to root for in QUALS. Once the field is set, well, pick one of the 43 if you dont already have a fav. No one will hate you for it, pick on yes, hate, no. That is just the way we are.  We are a nation of MANY. A nation that is giving the NFL a run for it's money. A nation that is true and faithfull. We say a prayer before each race, we stand at attention, hand over heart, and sing our National Anthem, WITH PRIDE!!! WE HAVE FLY OVERS!!!!!!!! NO other sport can say that!!! Not even the NFL! Yeah (the NFL) had a fly over at this years Super Bowl. Guess what, it was footage from a NASCAR race.

We are dedicated and true fans from all across the WORLD!  NOT JUST "REDNECKS" as some still think..We are proud Americans!!

Honestly, how many of you haters could handle the pressure of running 180 plus, side by side racin', within one foot of another car, at over 30 degree banking on your turns? WITHOUT PEEING YOUR PANTS?
