Tashard Choice announces hes re-signed with Bills

Running back Tashard Choice broke the news via his twitter account on Friday that he is returning for a third season with the Buffalo Bills.
“I want to say thanks to the Bills organization and to all my fans I'm heading back to buffalo,” wrote Tashard Choice.
Though the Buffalo Bills didn’t confirm the rumors of the signing yet, Tashard Choice’s representatives - Creative Artists Agency – also backed the news on Twitter.
Later Friday night, Tashard Choice reiterated the news of the signing on the on The John Murphy Show. Tashard Choice although his agent had been in talks with other teams during the offseason, he still wanted to stay with the Buffalo Bills.
“I told him, Buddy Nix and all the guys in the organization, my teammates, are really good people,” said Tashard Choice.  “I really like the people in Buffalo. I told him, Coach Marrone wanted me back, so that’s good.”
“We start offseason conditioning next week,” added Tashard Choice, “so I told him I want to be there to be with my teammates and get back with them, and see how we can get this thing rolling this year.”
Tashard Choice has been a valuable backup running back for the Buffalo Bills over the past two seasons, and is expected to return in similar capacity. Acquired off waivers from the acquired off waivers from the Washington Redskins in November 2011 after veteran running Fred Jackson suffered an injury, Tashard Choice has been the Buffalo Bills’ No.3 running back on the depth chart.
The 28-year-old Tashard Choice took 7.8 snaps per game as he rushed 47 times for 193 yards and one touchdown while also catching four passes for nine receiving yards in 13 appearances for the Buffalo Bills last season. While filling in for injured fourth-year running back C.J. Spiller early in the season, with Fred Jackson also sidelined, Tashard Choice had 20 carries for 91 yards, and also caught two passes in the Week 3 win against the Cleveland Browns.
“It was a good day. I put in the work. Whenever your name is called, in a situation like that, you have to step up. When they see that you can do that, it gives them trust,” said Tashard Choice. “It gives coaches trust, it gives teammates trust. Because they see you know what you’re doing.  You’re not making any mistakes. They can count on you going into a game.”
The 5-foot-9, 210 pound Tashard Choice is back on a one-year deal after rushing for 263 yards and two touchdowns, as well as combining 11 receptions for 55 yards in two and a half seasons for the Buffalo Bills.
