Not sure how I wasn't aware of this sooner, but someone created this sign during last year's Pistons-Cavs series. Judging by the Team USA roster before today, maybe Tayshaun really was a member of the Program.
I'm not sure what took so long, but Prince was finally added to ever expanding roster of potential participants who will play for Team USA this summer and beyond.
Prince is EXACTLY what the team needs to win the Americas Championship which will determine who qualifies for the Beijing Games. And I wouldn't be surprised if Tayshaun started.
Here's the total roster as of today from the US Basketball site: Carlos Boozer, Tyson Chandler, Kevin Durant, Jason Kidd, Mike Miller, Greg Oden, Tayshaun Prince, Deron Williams, Carmelo Anthony, Shane Battier, Chauncey Billups, Chris Bosh, Bruce Bowen, Elton Brand, Kobe Bryant, Kirk Hinrich, Dwight Howard, Lebron James, Antwan Jamison, Adam Morrison, Michael Redd, JJ Redick, Luke Ridnour, and Amare Stoudemire.
I thought I'd pose the question to you - What would your starting lineup be for Team USA this summer?
Here's mine:
1 - Deron Williams (I don't think Kidd will actually play)
2 - Lebron James
3 - Tayshaun Prince
4 - Chris Bosh
5 - Dwight Howard
With Bruce Bowen, Kobe if he's serious, and Boozer immediately off the bench.
