Something tells me that the men's Olympic basketball team is getting lonely in Beijing. How do I know? Well, there was that story that came out when they were warming up before the Olympics that 'Melo, LeBron and D-Wade were visiting cat houses in Hong Kong. Strike one.Then there was this hilarious photo of LeBron taken recently. Strike two.
And now there's this story.
Kara Goucher is a US Olympian who's over in Beijing to run in the 5,000m and 10,000m races. Anyway, she's been doing a write up for her local paper, the Duluth News Tribune, about her time in Beijing. And today, something kind of hilarious popped out in one of her stories. She got hit on by a Team USA player. Oh, and she's married, by the way. Strike three.

Then we had a two-hour wait until we actually marched in. At this point, athletes started mingling and I met [USA men's basketball players] Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and Jason Kidd. I got my picture with all of them. They were all very nice and asked me about running track. One of them actually ended up asking for my number, and chatting me up for a while, and got out his camera to take a picture with me, but that's a story for another time."
And now for the endless jokes one can make about this.
1. Vanessa Bryant is now shopping for a new ring.
2. It couldn't be a Team USA player, they can't hit anything these days.
3. Carmelo told her today to "stop snitchin'"
In all honesty though, I'm 100% positive it was Jason Kidd. He tends to be somewhat forward with women.
