The Owls have two prolific scoring guards in Ramone Moore and Khalif Wyatt. Moore averages 17.7 points a game, while Wyatt gets 17.1 per game. The Owls enter the tournament having won 15 of their last 17 games.
About South Florida:
South Florida (21-13) got one of the last at-large bids to the NCAA Tournament, and needed to beat Cal in a play-in game in order to get into the main bracket. Well, the Bulls didn't just beat the Golden Bears, they embarrassed them, holding Cal to just 13 first-half points. That was a typical winning game for the Bulls, who have one of the best defenses in the nation. They have to win with defense, because their offense rarely will take over games. No Bull averages double-digit points in a game, yet the team managed to finish sixth in a strong Big East.
