In its 37-20 loss to Florida, Tennessee allowed 336 rushing yards off 43 carries (7.8 ypc) and was manhandled by a much stronger offensive line.Blog Photo - Tennessee Football: Volunteers Lose Starting FS for Season

The secondary didn't fare too well either, as it gave up 219 yards and two touchdowns to sophomore quarterback Jeff Driskel.

And if that wasn't bad enough, the Volunteers received word today that they will be without starting free safety — and leading tackler — Brian Randolph for the rest of the season.

Randolph, a sophomore, tore his anterior cruciate ligament during a play in the fourth quarter. He currently leads the team with 22 tackles.

Bryron Moore is expected to move from the starting strong safety position to replace Randolph, while Brent Brewer moves over into his slot.
