Terrell Owens Calls Out Rodney Harrison For Steroid Use
NFL, Buffalo Bills, Rodney Harrison

Terrell Owens Sticks Up For Himself Against Rodney Harrison's Roid Rage

9/28/09 in NFL   |   Pat   |   4513 respect

After constant criticism from Rodney Harrison, Terrell Owens finally decided to strike back, and he hit Harrison pretty close to home, calling him out for his steroid use when he was a player.

From Owens' twitter profile:

Part 1:
I could less about Rodney Harrison! Anybody tht using steroids, yes STEROIDS rodney, is a cheater & cheated the game!

Part 2:
Is tht Y u used steroids b/c u were worried about ur stats or ws it b/c u were losing it? Lol! U're a loser & a cheater? Got any steroids I cn borrow?

Part 3:

Hey rodney! Send me sum steroids 2 the Bills facility next week!

Well played, Terrell. I agree with the consensus belief that Owens hasn't exactly been the greatest teammate in the world over the course of his career. But in Buffalo, it seems like the media is constantly fishing for a sound byte from him, and continuously trying to goad him into saying something inflammatory. When he finally answers the question as innocuously as he knows how, they go into full attack mode.

In my opinion, Terrell hasn't really said anything wrong yet in Buffalo. His play could improve, but the media is definitely being unnecessarily tough on him for now. It's good to see him calling at least one of them out. No one's perfect, Rodney Harrison. You might do well to remember that.

Everybody makes mistakes.  We have to learn from them and keep going.

He may have used roids but that doesn't make up for TO's stone hands with no catches.

The problem in Buffalo is QB play, from what I can see. TO didn't get a catch because Edwards couldn't put the ball in his hands.

To be honest I am not a fan or friend of either Rodney ( wanna run my mouth ) Harrison or Terrell ( I don't know how to be a man ) Owens.  I on one hand feel very embarrassed everytime I see Terrell Owens on T.V. because he is truly a train wreck looking for a place to happen and Rodney Harrison is an over opionated little bitch of a man who was a ban wagon player who got lucky, he was not the type of back that recievers feared nor did he recieve the sort of press coverage that made every stop and take notice.  So I guess now he wants to talk, and talk and talk, Its time for all the JABRONI'S TO KNOW THEIR ROLE AND SHUT THEIR MOUTH, BECAUSE THE TIME HAS COME FOR ALL THESE ROODY POOH CANDY ASS PLACERS AND EX PLAYERS TO GET CHECKED DIRECTLY INTO THE SMACK DOWN HOTEL.

Roidney Harrison is about as respected as Rodney Dangerfield.

One minute they're praising him on his arrival, the next minute they're on his back like wild boars... Dang, he can't win for losing..

In defense of Rodney Harrison, if you're not going to "stir the pot" in that job, they'll find a new analyst.  He's trying to make his way in a new career.  We're talking about this, so it's a win for him.

That press conference yesterday was a joke.  It looked more like a bad reality tv show than it did a PC for a pro football team.  I'm all for T.O. going T.O. on us, but cut the guy some slack with the ridiculous questioning.  I'm sure he'll embarrass himself soon enough without the help of the media.

I could not agree more and Mr. Owens is a talented if aging player trying to get back to the playoffs 1 or 2 more times, I don't blame him for being frustrated, however his proven track record of dividing locker rooms and  regarding the effect it has on his team can be seen as worse than the PED use and borderline hits of Harrison, which right or wrong could be construed as trying to help the team.

exactly - that guy was an a** to him. I will admit I'm not a fan of T.O. but even I thought that was over the top.
